Last week Billy and Bruce met Torsten Shaw from the Nottingham based organisation Making Waves which delivers training and service evaluation made up of people who have experienced mental health issues and often used a variety of mental health/ substance misuse services.
" I was very impressed with Billy and Bruce, two articulate and interesting individuals with a wide range of life experiences. I feel if they were given the opportunity I'm sure they would be of great benefit to others who maybe experiencing similar life situations. If they were here in Nottingham I'd consider offering them paid work."
